Baby Bee Tear Free Shampoo %26amp; Wash is the one I used and it was awful. I was told it was great for color treated hair, but my hair was left all stringy and felt like there was still product in there (even after I washed several times). If your asking because you're getting attacked more while outdoors than your friends, you can switch over to just plain Ivory soap and use a lavender smelling laundry soap for your clothes, but do curb the amount of sweets and salty food you consume because when you sweat the odor comes out and even your feramones can be attracting the bugs.


But for camping or being one with nature.. just use Ivory soap.. its low toxic, low odor, and cheap priced... and if you lather enough up you can use it as a shampoo as well or use Johnson's Baby shampoo.. very mild and low scented.What soap/shampoos will not attract bees and/or mosquitoes?
I used Dr. Bronner's Peppermint soap when I lived up north, it really seemed to keep the mosquitos away more. Don't know about the bees though.... Report Abuse

yes really strong sweet smelling shampoo as you know will attract bees its kinda hard to not attract them but having less of a scent on you would be best...THOSE BEES AND MOSQUITOES MUST LOVEEE YOU LOL hehe:) oh by the way i noticed some repellent attracts them like those glow in the dark wrist bands omg i was getting attcked!!!!!!

I prefer Dr Bronners peppermint soap for out of doors. it's very effective and seems to repel insects. It's not cheap, around 50$ per gallon but goes a long, long way and works great.

not the conditioner but i always use their shampoo. i cant really recommend it only because ppl have different types of hair so it might be wonderful for me (which it is) and might not be the right thing for you. i would suggest you try it and if anything just dont buy or what ev u decide to do. if u are going to buy it here are the best smells/flavors what ev it is:

I found it super drying. But my boyfriend is using the rest up and his hair looks AMAZING! because he has naturally oilier hair. Where as my hair is super dry to begin with.





So: if you have oily hair, you'll like this product. It will make your hair noticebly shiny.





A cheaper version might be that Pantene Ice Shine stuff. I've used that before, but I think it's a clarifying shampoo..which means it'll strip your hair. So make sure to only use the clarifying shampoo like once a week, and use a regular shampoo the rest of the time.

i had once been to this party and before i left the house i washed my hair with floral shampoo so im walkin to the party and i hear bzzzzzzz..... im like tht might just me my imgination so i heard it again and when i turned around i thought about 100 -300 bees were tryin to catch me thats how i ened up in a pool at the party and the floral shampoo weared out so the bees went away..whew tht was so close....... dont try it beleive me unless u want this to happen to uWhen you use a floral scented shampoo, does it seem to attract more bees?

I bought a set of Burt's Bees shampoo and conditioner, the Green Tea and Fennel Seed Color Keeper products, and I used them for a week or so to test them out.





I know that they don't contain sodium laureth sulfate (SLES) or sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS), and they say on the bottle they're ninety-eight percent natural with rosemary and many herbs, but it seems like whenever I use them, my roots and hair are still oily and feel very greasy, even though my hair smells wonderful afterwards.





My question is, do you think the shampoos and conditioners from that line are ineffective, or do you think it's just because my hair has been so used to harsh, sufactant shampoos that my hair just gets oily more easily? I guess they could be my natural oils, but I don't know for certain.Burt's Bees shampoo and conditioner, do they work?
My girlfriend and I have tried that brand and don't think their hair line works well at all. Their lip products are about the best thing going for them.

I now have the BESTTTT shampoo in the world, Bath %26amp; Body Works makes shampoo now and its really great, I love it and they have regular scents and also aromatherapy scents...Vanilla Jasmine is my fav. I've tried it, and even though I am a big fan of Burt's Bees personal care products, I have to say that this is a dud. First of all, it's hard to use it. The bar always gets grimy and gooey. thats what im for %26lt;j/k%26gt; but for real it doesnt work below the neck because things are allitle less sensitive down there ;).. i would think its the mentholatedness(is that a word... i guess it is now lol) that makes it tingly... all of that berts bees stuff is just about vic's vapor rub... if you look on the back of the package it says whats in it and menthol crystals should be up there somewhere... menthol is what gives the stuff its good smell and is whats in cigarettes to make them go down easy if your wondering...

Well I have most of the Yes to Carrots and Yes to Cucumber products. Yes to Carrots isnt totally organic it does have one or two chemicals in there. Its better than a lot of the other shampoos out there. Im going to start using Ojon their products are 100% natural. Im not sure about Burts Bees I hate their products.

Burt's Bees has wonderful products. The baby shampoo is tearless, pH Balanced, free of: Sodium Lauryl/Laureth Sulfate, Paraben %26amp; Phthalate. I love their products.





I don't have children but often help shop for safe products for my absolutely adorable nephew who has dry skin. The organic/natural aisle in the grocery store usually has a great selection of baby products that are free of ingredients we try to avoid.

I love all the Burts Bees baby products. I especially like the shampoo/body wash. It lathers so much that I only have to use a tiny bit on the washcloth and it smells so wonderful. I also use the Burts Bees apricot baby oil and the lotion. The products have such a sweet smell that is my baby's ';signature'; scent now. I also feel good knowing that there arn't yucky chemicals in the products.

Burt Bee products are great, a little pricey but nice. The Sugarbeet Grapefruit shampoo/conditioner has good reviews and makes your hair shiny and smells nice too.

My local health food store where I buy Burt's Bees gave me a sample of the shampoo and I couldn't take the smell. It's really expensive as well. I am all for Burt's Bees products but my budget will only allow me to have a few of his items. I personally like the soap bark facial cleanser and the herbal blemish stick because it's more important to me what touches my actual living skin, hair is just dead.
i have! i love burts bees (and aveda) products... aveda is more expensive, but i think it's much more useful and wonderful... both are really great, though. i think organic skin hair products is the way to go!! protects the environment and animals too ;-)
